This colonial-style home in Meridan, CT was in need of a new roof and gutters. We started by tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials and replacing all damaged plywood decking. We installed 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Charcoal Grey. In terms of gutters, we new 5-inch heavy duty Aluminum Seamless Gutters by Englert. We finished by removing the existing vent pipe boot and replacing it with a brand new 4-inch Perma-Boot. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
Here was an elegant Colonial located in Farmington, CT. The roof was over twenty years old, and the issues it had were beyond simple repair. As a part of this homeowner's full roofing system, we installed a Solar Fan, skylight flashing and all new vents to keep air moving throughout the interior of the home as well as the attic area.

For shingles, we used Owens Corning Duration TruDefinition Shingles in the color Onyx Black. To top it off, we installed a new VentSure Ridge Vent to provide consistent attic ventilation.

This two-story, Cape Cod home located in Farmington, CT had significant ice dam issues that developed over the upstairs bedrooms causing a small leak inside the home. To fix this problem and prevent further damage to the home we completely stripped off the existing shingles over the rear house and garage, where the problem occurred. We replaced any damaged plywood decking to make sure the structure of the roof was solid. For the new shingles, we installed Owens Corning Oakridge Shingles in the color Onyx Black. This homeowner will no longer have to worry about the devastating damage of ice dams this coming winter.
