We began the process by removing the old, moss-covered shingles, ensuring the roof was properly prepped for its transformation. Once the old materials were cleared away, our team inspected the plywood decking for any signs of damage or rot. After replacing any compromised boards, we applied protective underlayment to shield the decking from water damage and harsh weather conditions. This single-family home was in need of a new roof. To start, we tore off one layer of existing roofing materials and replaced all damaged plywood decking. We installed 3 rows of ice & water barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed Desert Tan. We finished the job by installing a Ridge Vent, which comes with a Weather Protector moisture barrier. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing! 

This single family home in Mansfield Center, CT was in need of a new roof. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing material, we replaced 1 sheets of damaged plywood decking. In accordance with the new building codes, we were sure to seal all joints on the roof deck with flashing tape. We then installed four rows of an IKO GoldShield Ice & Water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Driftwood. We finished the job by installing a brand new  Ridge Vent. This ridge vent comes with a Weather Protector moisture barrier and proved top-notch consistent attic ventilation.
