Located in Unionville, CT, this recently-bought home was in need of new architectural style shingles to protect the inside of the home. We first stripped the existing single tabbed shingles and brought them to the Asphalt Roof Recycling Center in Stratford, CT to be turned into asphalt roads. Then we replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water Shield to protect the home from any moisture. We installed a Total Protection Roofing System with Oakridge Shingles in the color Brownwood. To top it off, we installed a VentSure Ridge Vent to provide top-notch consistent attic ventilation to the home.
This single-family home in Unionville, CT was in need of a roof replacement and new gutters. After tearing off two layers of existing roofing materials, we replaced all rotted or damaged plywood decking. We then installed two rows of ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Earthtone Cedar. In terms of gutters, we installed heavy duty Aluminum Seamless Gutters by Englert. To finish off the job, we removed and replaced the existing chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

A Condo Association that owned this house in East Hartford called us to replace the roof. They had leaks in the roof and needed a permanent solution. Previously a second layer was installed when the 1st roof started to have problems. Our crews arrived at the home around 7:00 am, tore off the shingles, and were done and cleaned up before the end of the day. We install Ice & Water on every job and above code. We also use synthetic underlayment along side the Ice & Water to protect the plywood. In fact, we replaced all the rotten plywood after the old roof was tore off.
The roof on this Avon, CT home was experiencing very severe leaking, which was doing a great deal of damage to the upstairs ceiling. We started by tearing off both layers of the old roof and recycling the asphalt shingles. The new roof is an Owens Corning Life Time Roofing System, in a sleek Onyx Black. We covered the flat roof over the bathroom with Mile-Hide Mod Bit 1.5 flat roofing, and installed a VentSure ridge vent.
