At the same time as the roofing project, several pieces of plywood were replaced and all new fascia boards installed. We used Owens Corning Duration shingles in Desert Tan. The homeowners are thrilled with the new look of their home!
This stunning 18th Century Reproduction Home was in desperate need of a new roof to protect the home from the outside elements. At this 1980s home, we replaced five boards of damaged plywood decking with new plywood to keep the structure of the roof sound. To ensure that no moisture passes through the roof we installed Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water from all the eaves and valleys. For the new shingles, we laid down Owens Corning Oakridge shingles in the color Onyx Black. To ensure consistent top-notch ventilation to the attic, we installed new VentSure Ridge Vents. The chimney on this home also had old chimney flashing, which we replaced with new lead flashing.
This Dutch-Colonial home in Amston, CT had an issue with leaking in their aging roof, and were in need of a replacement. They decided on a complete roof & gutter replacement, courtesy of Klaus Larsen Roofing! To get started, we tore off 1 layer of existing roofing materials, as well as replacing 3 damaged layers of plywood decking. Next we installed 2 layers of Ice & Water Barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. For shingles, we installed Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Charcoal Grey. In accordance with the new building codes, we sure to seal all joints of the roof deck with flashing tape.
