This house in West Hartford, CT was in need of both a new roof and gutters. After tearing off one layer of existing roofing materials we replaced 2 sheets of damaged plywood decking. We then installed 3 rows of ice & water barrier near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. We also installed a brown F-8 aluminum drip edge along the entire outside perimeter of the roof. and tan shingles. In terms of gutters, we installed 5-inch heavy duty Aluminum Seamless Gutters by Englert. We also installed aluminum downspouts to match the gutters, as well as new 5-foot MicroGuard Gutter Guards by Englert. We finished the job by removing and replacing the existing chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing. This house is now safe, secure and looking better than ever thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

Seeking a contractor to carry out a roof replacement, owners of this 1927 Colonial-style home trusted Klaus Larsen Roofing with the job. We started by tearing off existing roofing materials, as well as replacing 11 layers of damaged plywood decking. Next we installed three rows of Ice & Water Barrier near roof valleys, eaves, chimneys, etc. For shingles, we installed Oakridge Shingles in the color Brownwood. These shingles included an Algae-Resistance Limited Warranty as well as a 130 MPH Wind Resistance Warranty. Lastly, we installed a Ridge Vent to provide consistent attic ventilation.
