Before, this Rock Island home's crawl space was overwhelmed by excess moisture, posing a persistent problem to homeowners longing for a drier, healthier living space. Thankfully, our experts stepped in, and, as you can see in the after photo, completely transformed the area. By encapsulating the crawl space with our CleanSpace technology, not only did we shield the home from further moisture invasion, but we also provided a lasting and reliable solution tailored to our customer's needs.

Jim S. of Davenport, IA had crawlspace work performed by another company at the beginning of the 2016, but he wasn't happy with the work that had been done. He called MidAmerica Basement Systems for another estimate, and a look into the problem. After meeting with design specialist Mike Banks, Jim S. was ready to get his damp, musty crawlspace encapsulated and dry.

Rob recently moved to a new home and was concerned about the untreated crawlspace. The previous owners had tried to make the area moisture proof by installed foam boards along the wooden joists flooring system. Rob reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to had the area properly sealed. He was offered a CleanSpace encapsulation. CleanSpace is a thick liner that permanently seals off exposed, damp dirt from the rest of the crawlspace. Sealing off the ground with a vapor barrier has significantly improved the efficiency in the home over the foam boards that were originally installed in the crawlspace.

Before we stepped in, the crawlspace at the Palmer College townhouses in Davenport, IA, had persistent water and moisture issues which is evident in the before image.
