Rita G. of Rock Island had always had an issue with water getting in to her basement and would continuously get out her shop vac to clean up the mess. After several days of rainfall, Rita had, had enough of cleaning up the mess herself! She made the call to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have a TripleSafe Sump Pump installed. To help with the water control, CleanSpace was added to help direct the flow of water down the walls to the WaterGuard System. Now Rita’s basement stays dry, and her shop vac stays in storage.
Marilyn was having issues of her sump pump pipes backing up during heavy rains. She called MidAmerica Basement Systems to help address the issue. During the inspection, it was found that her discharge line was too small for her sump pump, and during heavy rains, the pipes couldn’t keep up with the amount of water that was being pumped out. They recommended that she install IceGuard and LawnScape with the new discharge line. IceGuard prevents water from freezing in the discharge line and LawnScape allows for the discharge line to be placed under ground and out of site.
Patricia was concerned about her bowing walls. Over the years they have worsened, and some areas had even begun to seep water. She reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have her home looked at. Mac suggested a CarbonArmor system to permanently stabilize her foundation walls, and offered her a WaterGuard and TripleSafe waterproofing system. Due to all the mold and water damage to the walls, it was suggested that she have BrightWall installed. BrightWall is a rigid plastic sheeting that helps reduce moisture issues, while redirecting any seeping water to the WaterGuard. BrightWall also gives a bright, clean finish to Patricia’s basement to hide all the mold and water damage.
Adam was having issues with water seeping into his basement and reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems. During his estimate, Chris proposed he have a full perimeter waterproofing system installed. CleanSpace Wall Liner was applied to all the foundation walls, offering a vapor barrier from the seeping water. WaterGuard was installed around the floor and wall joint to collect and redirect the water to the TripleSafe sump pump. Once the water reached the sump, it will be properly discharged, leaving Adam’s basement dry. A SaniDry Sedona was also installed to control the humidity levels in the basement, helping prevent future mold growth.
Brenda was having issues with her basement walls bowing inward and made a call to MidAmerica Basement Systems. During her home inspection, it was also addressed that her basement had a leaking issue. She was offered a CarbonArmor system to stabilize the bowing walls and stopping the completely from worsening. A WaterGuard and SuperSump systems were then offered to keep her basement dry. The patented WaterGuard uses special flanges to help collect water from seeping walls, along with seeping water from the floor. Once collected in the WaterGuard, water is redirected to the SuperSump for proper disposal.
