Foundation Repair in Longmont, CO

Jeremy met the Thrasher team at a home show a few months ago. He was interested in purchasing a home but knew it had structural issues. He wanted a professional team to look at the house to figure out what was needed to achieve stabilization for the house to pass inspection.

We sent Anthony Salcedo to the home to look at the foundation. He found that an area of the foundation was settling about an inch into the soil. Anthony knew we needed to develop a solution quickly because Jeremy had a small window before closing on the house.

Our install team was able to lift the house about an inch (to its original position) and close most cracks in the walls by installing helical piers. Helical piers are made of heavy-duty galvanized steel that's resistant to bending. They are advanced or screwed into the soil and support the structure's weight.

Jeremy was very grateful throughout the entire process and impressed with our level of professionalism and execution. Above all else, he was happy we were able to work with him on his schedule and close on his new house in time!

Support Beam Structure Repair in Longmont, CO

These homeowners recently bought their home and planned to start remodeling it soon. Before their remodel however, they noticed that there were unlevel floors on the second floor. Wanting to ensure that everything would go well with the remodel, they called us.

We sent System Design Specialist Anthony Salcedo to inspect the upstairs floors and determine what the cause of this issue was. Anthony sound that the support beam in the basement has sinking issues and that the floor had heave issues. He found the root cause of this problem to be that the support posts holding up the support beam was failing and needed to be replaced. Anthony and his team got right to work after discussing with the homeowners the best course of action. The team installed SmartJacks and expansion joints to support the basement support beam and ensure that the posts would not move even if the support beam were to heave or sink. This combats the sinking problem, so that the upstairs floor will remain level in the future.

The homeowners were happy with the outcome and the look of them. They can't wait to proceed with their remodel. Check out their support beam lift!

Severe Wall Failure Fixed in Denver, CO

This rental property owner needed to secure the foundation of the building he bought so that he could rent out the units. He looked into foundation repair companies in the Denver area, as he didn't know much about the area because he lived out of state, he came across our services and he gave us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Anthony Salcedo to inspect the rental property's foundation and determine what would be best to help solve the foundation issues. When Anthony arrived, he was shocked at the amount of wall damage that had occurred. Anthony found that all of the walls had some degree of failure and lateral movement; Two of the walls were scoped out for full replacement because of how severe their degree failure was. After the thorough inspection, Anthony gave the homeowner a call to discuss what damage had occurred as well as what solutions we could offer to fix this problem. The rental property owner thought these solutions seemed the most thorough of all the solutions he had heard, so he decided to have our team fixed his foundation wall problems.

One of our installation teams went to fix the wall problems in the home shortly after the homeowner moved forward with our services. The team utilized GeoLock Earth Anchors on the two walls with less degrees of damage. After an engineer report surfaced from the rental property owner, our team was able to accommodate the other two severely failing walls by installing our EverBrace Wall System which acts as a new wall for stabilizing the property. The report also stated that new support posts were needed in the center support beam to have proper support, so our team also installed SmartJacks to stabilize the center support beam.

After all this work was complete, the rental property owner was very relieved that he could start renovations for the rental properties to be rented out. Although this project was tough, our team was able to stabilize all of the walls and give the rental property owner a chance to renovate his property. Settlement Solved in Broomfield, CO

This homeowner was ready to remodel the upstairs of her home, when she noticed that all the floors were sloping towards the middle of the home. She recognized that something was wrong and unstable about her home, so she wanted to fix this issue before remodeling. She gave us a call to have an inspection done on her home.

We sent System Design Specialist Anthony Salcedo to inspect the foundation and give the customer a comprehensive explanation of the problem. Anthony noticed that the floors were sagging due to an interior support beam that was sloping significantly due to a lack of support posts. Anthony and his team knew just what to do, so they began work right away when the customer decided on the solution she would move forward with. The team removed both existing posts and began drilling two helical soil nails deep into the earth. The Helical Piers System can support our SmartJacks, which were then installed so that the home's support beam now has proper support posts that run deep into the earth.

The homeowner was very impressed with the whole process and the installation. Check out her home's new support system!

Fixed Wall Deflection in Arvada, CO

This homeowner was concerned with his home's foundation and the interior damage that was starting to occur as a result. Our team went out to take a look at the issue and concluded that hydrostatic pressure pushing on the walls from the outside caused wall deflection. Deflection is the bending of joists, trusses, or rafters. We used over 20 PowerBraces and 4 push piers to fix the foundation on all sides of the home. PowerBrace is a system that can be tightened over time, slowly reversing the wall failure.
