In Nixa, MO, these homeowners were preparing to sell their home and move into something more appropriate for their family. However, the concrete walkway had settled drastically, creating a tripping hazard for those entering the home. After meeting with one of our System Design Specialists and hearing about our concrete repair solutions, they knew Thrasher was the company for them.
Our crews arrived and began installing our 2-part concrete protection system that consists of our PolyLevel concrete lifting foam and NexusPro crack filler. The PolyLevel is injected first beneath the slabs to permanently level and stabilize the surface. Then, the NexusPro is applied to all cracks and control joints to prevent water from breaching the surface in the future.

This homeowner wanted to remove trip hazards and make her walkways look better. Her concrete walkway was sinking and settling, which was an eyesore on the front of their home. When we inspected, we found that the soil below the sidewalk had washed out, which was causing the concrete to drop into the voids. To fix, we lifted and leveled the sidewalk with PolyLevel, a foam that is injected to stabilize the concrete. Next, we used NexusPro to seal all the cracks and joints to prevent water from entering and washing out the soil again.

These homeowners lived in their home for 20 years, and they decided they wanted to move in the next couple of months. While they were excited about moving and starting their new adventure, they were not prepared for the stress of selling their current home. Their home was in great condition, however their backyard concrete path was in a rough condition. They wanted to get the true worth of the home, and they were concerned that their concrete problem would hurt that, so they decided to give us a call.
We sent System Design Specialist Brandon Powers to inspect the concrete and determine which places were best to lift the concrete back to an even level. Brandon identified that soil erosion caused the concrete to settle, so after looking into the locations in which the concrete had settled the most, he was able to call out a team to come lift, level, and seal the concrete. Our team used PolyLevel foam and NexusPro sealant to repair their backyard walkway.
The homeowners were very pleased with the work that was done and they are relieved to have one less stressor in selling their home. Check out their newly leveled concrete!
