Cracked Concrete Repair in Raytown, MO

This homeowner was struggling with water in his basement, so he called us out for basement waterproofing. The basement was waterproofed using WaterGuard and CleanSpace, but not before the home had been damaged by the water problems of the past. We were able to install PowerBraces and GeoLock Anchos to save the falling walls in addition to the waterproofing materials used.

A few months later, the homeowner was concerned because his concrete was sloping towards the foundation walls, and the concrete was cracked which allowed water to seep into the soil next to the foundation. He was worried that the concrete would start to damage the parts of his foundation that were not previously damaged, so he decided to give us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Ian Pfister to inspect the concrete cracks and determine if these would hurt the foundation that had no previous damage. Ian found that the concrete cracks were leading water to the nondamaged portion of the foundation. One of our concrete repair teams utilized NexusPro sealant to seal the cracks and joints to prevent any damage to his other foundation walls.

The homeowner was very happy with the work that was done and he is relieved to have his home safe from water damage. Check out the homeowner's fixed concrete!

Concrete Repair in Raytown, MO

Eric is a proud retired homeowner in Raytown, MO and plans to keep the estate as his forever home. However, Eric loves to travel and knows that if he ever wanted to sell the property a few issues would need to be taken care of first. Specifically, his driveway and surrounding concrete needed to be leveled and repaired to restore the property’s value. Eric was familiar with Thrasher and our dedication to providing the best solution. Looking for a company that does it right the first time, he gave Thrasher a call.

To begin the project, our System Design Specialist Tom Studer arrived in Raytown to perform a thorough inspection of the home. The driveway and sidewalks had multiple areas of settlement that had caused cracks and an uneven surface. The back patio had sunken areas that created a tripping hazard when entering the home. Both issues were caused by the soil underneath being washed out and not being able to support the weight of the concrete. This was solved using our PolyLevel foam to permanently lift and level the concrete. It’s a lightweight and waterproof solution that guarantees no soil washout in the future without adding any extra weight. This was then paired with our NexusPro sealer to fill all cracks and control joints to prevent any water from seeping through. These two products combined not only increase the lifespan of the concrete but enhance the appearance in order to increase the property’s value.

Eric was pleased with the outcome of the solutions Thrasher was able to provide. He was impressed with our ability to provide a quality customer experience, and with his concrete repaired Eric now has the confidence to live on in his forever home.
