This customer wanted to finish his basement, but did not want to worry about getting water anymore. He called us out to do a full home inspection and we determined the best route would be to install a full perimeter interior drianage track, sump pump, and vapor barrier. We were able to install all three and fully waterproof his basement to stay dry all the time and keep the water out.

This customer was experiencing water in the basement and was tired of cleaning it up every time it rained. After we inspected, we realized the problem was the exterior drainage. To fix the issue, our crew installed a full perimeter interior drainage system, vapor barrier, and a sump pump. These three systems will work in conjunction with one another to make sure three things happen:

1. To keep their whole basement dry
2. To prevent mold
3. To make sure the basement stays dry all the time

This homeowner recently faced a leaky basement wall in her house. Water seepage through the walls was causing damage and making her worried. Thrasher Foundation Repair installed CleanSpace, a permanent solution that is far better than traditional paint and sealants as they can chip, peel, or flake away. Any water seepage is directed down into the drainage system as well. Additionally, CleanSpace is a good option for covering large boulders or dirt sections because it can be shaped around objects. These homeowners have lived in their forever home since 1994. They had problems with water getting into their basement, so they thought a new gutter system was needed. After years, they still had this problem of water in their basement. They suspected that there could be cracks in their foundation, however they could not find any when they had it inspected. Tom found that water was not from foundation cracks, but cracks in the walls and thought the cold joints. The homeowners' basement needed a permanent solution, so Tom and his team got to work to install our WaterGuard Interior Drainage System, our CleanSpace Basement Wall Vapor Barrier, and a TripleSafe Sump Pump System.

The Raytown School District has used Thrasher Foundation Repair on many occasions to maintain the safety of the sidewalks and flatwork around their schools and office buildings.

Owners of most public buildings are required to repair any public sidewalk or entryway that has more than 3/4″ differential movement from one piece of flatwork to another.

Thrasher was hired to eliminate any potential tripping hazards along the sidewalks and entryways at one of the district's office buildings. We were able to return all the concrete flatwork to the original condition without interrupting their working schedule or the facility's function.

We use PolyLevel to lift and level concrete. PolyLevel polyurethane foam is pumped beneath cement slabs through tiny ports about the size of a penny. Initially, PolyLevel flows like water, filling even the smallest cracks and crevices in the soil. It quickly expands and hardens, lifting the concrete slabs above it and compressing the ground around it at the same time. PolyLevel is waterproof, so it will never wash out, and it won't degrade over time due to temperature extremes. It's environmentally friendly, too, with no ecologically harmful chemical leaching.
