Melissa H. In Emerson, NE needed to do something about the bowing walls in her basement before she could make the space safe and suitable for finishing. To return support to the old, failing brick walls, we installed our Everbrace wall support system along all of the affected walls. We also installed a waterproofing system to resolve a water issue that contributed to the wall failure, making the basement clean, dry and ready to finish.
As you can see, this wall had some structural issues. Our team got onsite and was able to close up the crack by permanently stabilizing the foundation!
This couple in Malcolm, NE have an old barn on their property that they would like to keep standing. The barn had some severe foundation issues, so our team came in and took care of them. We installed a number of products to keep this structure upright, including a push pier, helical piers, a Geo-Lock wall plate, and a Geo-Lock Earth anchor. Now this column is straight and stable.
Homeowner Yvonne L. had some major concern about the foundation walls in her basement. She noticed that the walls started to have major cracking and was worried about the foundation. Looking to maintain her home, she decided to give Thrasher a call.
Service Technician Deryk Heitman went out to Yvonne’s home. He saw that the walls were having major deflection and cracks. We fixed the problems by using C-Channels, which are mainly used on block walls or walls that are broken horizontally, to support the entire wall when necessary. The C-Channels were able to move the wall back into its original position and eliminate the shearing from getting worse. Yvonne was extremely happy with the end result and glad that her walls were now stable.
These homeowners lived in their house for many years and recently, decided to have their entire foundation replaced. They had several issues with their old foundation and chose to replace over repairing it. Unfortunately, the foundation was not the issue. It was the soil.
After doing a full replacement, they started to notice cracks forming on their brand new foundation walls. They knew at this point they had to get it fixed before it turned into a bigger issue.
Austin Sharon went out to their home to perform an inspection. He found the foundation walls were tipping in and causing damage to the support beams. The north and south walls were both failing. This was happening because of the soil around the foundation. To fix, we stabilized the walls using a combination of PowerBraces and Anchors, which will straighten the walls over time.
The homeowners are relieved not to have to worry about foundation issues anymore.
