Check out how our System Design Specialist, Anthony Guzzi, helped this homeowner in Allentown, NJ after they noticed their basement had water seepage. Anthony worked with them to design a solution to stop water seepage in the crawl space to keep it dry and healthy. We installed our WaterGuard French Drain System, CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier System, and TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Together, each system will stop moisture and dampness from passing through the foundation walls and floor. 

The basement of this Allentown, NJ home was facing heavy flooding problems due to cracks in  the foundation wall. Tired of the water invading their space, the homeowner contacted us at Quality 1st to equip their home with a better waterproofing system. The most vital part of waterproofing the basement is the  sump pump, and if it can't keep up with flooding water, it isn't serving the home. Our team was able to replace this home's sump pump system with our TripleSafe System. The crawl space of this Basking Ridge, NJ home was cold and damp. The previous owners attempted to waterproof the crawl space by putting down a liner, but that was not doing keeping the water out. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed a full crawl space encapsulation system which included SilverGlo crawl space insulation and CleanSpace crawl space liners which will keep the cold, damp air out of this home. The family has noticed that the air in their crawl space no longer smells musty and is not making their first floors cold!

A homeowner in Basking Ridge, New Jersey had wet insulation and a moist crawl space. The homeowners contacted Quality 1st for a free estimate and one of our system design specialists went to inspect the crawl space. Because of the moisture and wet insulation, the crawl space needed to be encapsulated.

To do this, CleanSpace Drainage Matting was installed on the floor of the crawl space to give the water a channel underneath the crawl space liner. To prevent water vapor and humidity from passing through, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was installed on the floors and walls. This liner protects the crawl space from moisture, mold and rot so there is no worry about odors or allergenic spores in the crawl space. The homeowners do not have to worry about a wet crawl space anymore.
