The foundation of Mr. Gubic's house seems to be crumbling. Several exterior and interior cracks on the walls are apparent.

Solution

To solve a foundation subsidence problem, our experts install hydraulic piles under the foundations. They will support and strengthen the foundation and possibly straighten it back to its original position.

This house in Varennes had signs of wall failure.

There was horizontal cracking near the middle of the wall, Horizontal cracks usually start out small and increase in width over time as the soil outside continues to put pressure on the wall.

Mr. Patry had a large crack in his concrete slab in the basement of his house that worried him. In addition to that, there were cracks in the shape of staircases on two walls of its foundation. He contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Québec to get a free estimate and find out about possible solutions to his problem.

Our specialist who went to the site to do the free inspection found that the crack in the concrete slab and those on the foundation walls were caused by the foundation sagging. With the movement and change of the soil under the foundation, the weight of the foundation was no longer supported so it began to sag.

We Added our Push Piers under the foundation to stabilize it permanently. As there were several obstacles outside, our experts laid the pillars for the interior of the house. They dug to reach the footing of the foundation to then insert the hydraulic pillars. They rest on a very solid layer of soil, which stabilizes the foundation once and for all. They even created a possibility of straightening the house to its original position.

With this solution, Mr. Patry will have nothing more to fear for his foundation.
