A homeowner in Saint-Telesphore, Quebec, contacted us due to issues with a cold and damp basement. Upon inspection, our specialist identified the cause as water infiltration resulting from the bad performance of the existing drainage system. This excess moisture, combined with the cold temperature in the basement, was leading to increased  higher energy costs, as HVAC systems were operating more than usual. To address these problems, we installed the WaterGuard internal drainage system, designed to capture and direct infiltrated water to the discharge line, preventing further moisture accumulation. Additionally, we installed SilverGlo insulation panels, which provide an effective thermal barrier, stabilizing temperature fluctuations and thus reducing energy consumption. As a result, the basement is now well-insulated, making it ready for finishing.

Problem: The client who lives in Lachine had a crack visible from the outside and he suspected that it was inside as well.

Solution: We injected the crack and added the Flexispan to give a nice finish. Also, we installed CarbonArmor to stabilize the foundation.
