Mr. Pomerleau contacted us because his basement was experiencing water infiltration. After our free inspection, our specialist found the perfect solution for our client. Our team installed an interior foundation drain under the concrete slab. Then we installed a SuperSump, which is a sump pump system that can be installed with a battery backup pump. Then, to prevent flooding due to frozen pipes in winter, we installed an IceGuard system that provides a second flow path for water.
The problem
Our client Mr. Pires had recently bought a house in Saint-Philippe. It had a very noisy and unreliable sump pump system and was worried that his system will not be able to expel the water during heavy rain or on spring. So he contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Québec after seeing many sump pump system solutions.
The solution
Replace our client’s sump pump with our SuperSump sump pump system. This system features a powerful ⅓ HP Zoeller cast iron sump pump capable of pumping 8,300 liters of water per hour out of the basement to a height of 8 feet. It is also possible to insert a battery-operated pump. This way, in case of a power failure, the sump pump system will still work.
With this solution, Mr. Pires can have the peace of mind since he now has an efficient and reliable sump pump system.
We have stabilized our client’s foundations permanently. Our support pile system has been proven as an effective permanent solution and our Push Pier support pillars can be installed from inside and outside and the finish will be clean and neat.
We have waterproofed our client’s basement in Sainte-Dorothée and installed the TripleSafe sump pump systems.
The TripleSafe offers 3 times more protection than a simple sump pump.
Mr. Demuy has an uninsulated basement with concrete walls and floors. He wanted to use this space to store his personal belongings, but he was worried about the humidity and wanted to insulate his walls from his basement. He contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Québec in order to have a reliable and efficient solution.
The solution for our client was to install our Foamax insulation panels on the basement walls. They are made of high performance polyisocyanurate foam coated with a white finish on one side and a vapor barrier on the back. They provide comfort, superior insulation and make your walls look cleaner and brighter.
