Roof Replacement in Newington, CT

This ranch style home in Newington, CT was built in 1929. The owner of the home contacted Klaus Larsen because the roof was old and it was time to replace it. After tearing off two layers of exising roofing materials, the damaged plywood decking was replaced. Three rows of barrier was installed. New lead flashing was installed, along with a new 3' Perma-Boot in the color Black. Architectural-style asphalt shingles  in the color of Estate Gray, were used to complete the new roof on this home!

Roof Replacement & Gutter Installation in Newington, CT

This attractive single-family home was in desperate need of a roof replacement. We started by tearing off 1 layer of existing roofing materials, as well as replacing the entire roof's decking with brand new plywood. Next we installed 3 rows of Ice & Water Shield near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. For shingles we installed the Duration TruDefinition Shingle in the color Desert Tan. In effort to provide top-notch roof ventilation, we installed a Ridge Vent with a Weather Protector moisture barrier. Lastly, we removed and installed 5" aluminum seamless gutters in the color white. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!

Roof Replacement in Bloomfield, CT

This Tudor style home located in Bloomfield, CT has just gone under a complete roof replacement. When we arrived at the job site we first stripped the existing roof and replaced 7 sheets of damaged plywood decking. To keep out any outside moisture from coming into the interior of the home we laid down Ice & Water Shield. For the new shingles, we used architectural-style asphalt shingles in the color Teak. To top it off we installed VentSure Ridge Vent to provide consistent top-notch ventilation to the attic. 

Victorian Roof Replacement in Bloomfield, CT

This 1900 Victorian style home located in Bloomfield, Connecticut was completely stripped of its roof which had water damage, and replaced with a new Klaus Larsen roofing system. We first started by stripping two layers of existing roofing materials and replacing all damaged plywood decking. We then installed three rows of Ice & Water barrier from all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. For shingles, we installed grey asphalt which includes a 10 year Algae-Resistance Limited Warranty and a 130 MPH Wind Resistance Limited Warranty. We finished by removing and replacing flashing on the chimney with new lead flashing.
