At this colonial-style home located in East Hampton, CT they were in desperate need of a new roof. Once the Klaus Larsen crew arrived, they began stripping the existing roof and replaced 5 sheets of damaged plywood to build a good foundation for the shingles. To protect the interior of the home from any outside moisture we laid down three rows of Ice & Water Shield. For shingles, we installed Onyx Black. This home also had a lot of pre-existing skylights that needed to be replaced and reflashed. To top-it-off, we removed and replaced the old chimney flashing with new lead flashing. 

This 2001 Colonial-style home has been rejuvenated with a new Klaus Larsen roofing system! They had one layer of their existing roof torn off, as well as five layers of damaged plywood decking replaced. They then had three rows of Ice & Water barrier installed near all eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed in the color Quarry Grey. Lastly, they added a VentSure Ridge Vent, to provide top-notch consistent attic ventilation. This home is now complete thanks to the work of Klaus Larsen Roofing, LLC!

For the new shingles, the IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Brownstone, which come with a 130MPH wind warranty and are algae-resistant, give David peace of mind against weather damage and premature aging. In addition, we installed a specialized flat roofing Polyglass roof membrane on the flatter section, designed to withstand water pooling and keep water out.
