Here was a farmhouse from 1855, that had a 20 year old roof on it, which we removed and recycled. We installed a new CDX plywood deck over the existing structural framing and an Owens Corning Lifetime Roofing System in Chateau Green shingles. We also removed and replaced all flashing on three chimneys with new lead flashing. The asphalt we send off to be recycled is turned into roads that span across Connecticut and Massachusetts.
There was definite visual and internal deterioration on this 3-Tab roof in East Hartford, CT. This job was pretty straightforward, and began with the removal and recycling of one layer of shingles from both the main house and garage. We replaced the roof with a Lifetime Owens Corning Roofing System in Onyx Black, a classic asphalt color. The chimney flashing was also renewed in addtion to all new vent pipe boots. New decking, vents, and underlayment all work together to give this home a nice, new little roof!
This cozy one family home in East Hartford, CT had a roof that began to show signs of aging and was in need of replacing. To begin this project, we tore away all the existing roofing material and disposed of the debris appropriately. Upon examination of the roof deck it was determined that there was one damaged sheet of plywood decking that needed replacing. Next, we installed two rows of IKO Gold Shield Ice & Water Barrier as well as Stormtite Synthetic Underlayment in order to weather proof the home. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Roofing System using IKO Dynasty Architectural Shingles in the Castle Grey colorway. To finish off this job we replaced the existing chimney flashing and vent pipe boot. This home is complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
At this cape-style home located in East Hartford, CT we completed a full roof replacement on the main house as well as the garage. To provide total moisture protection from outside elements we installed Weatherlock G Ice & Water from all eaves, valleys, and around chimneys and roof/wall intersections. To keep the integrity of this home we installed brand new Owens Corning Duration Shingles in the color Slatestone Gray. To protect the chimneys from water damage we removed and replaced the flashing with new lead flashing. This home needed a new bathroom exhaust vent hood with a built-in damper on the roof which included a new flex duct from the fan to the hood.
This colonial home in East Hartford, CT, received a garage roof repair along with an installion of new gutters, siding, fascia, and rake trim. Damaged wood decking was replaced. Three rows of Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water was laid on the roof before the placement of Owens Corning Duration Oakridge shingles in the color of Estate Gray. The gutters used were aluminum seamless gutters in the color of White! Owens Corning Purpose-Made Starter Shingles were installed along the outside perimeter of the roof and a window was completely removed from the side of the garage. This 1966 home is ready to shine!
