The owners of this property had an old roof and leaks from Ice Dams. The Ice dams were causing water to come into the large bay window in the front of the house. The owners wanted the Ice Dams completely gone so they asked for our Vented Deck solution. A vented deck is a system of a built up second layer of plywood that allows air to pass between the two pieces. This keeps the roof deck cold and prevents from melting and refreezing on the roof.

These owners came to the 2017 Spring HBRA and visited Klaus Larsen's booth and got a free and thorough estimate. They were looking for a permanent solution for their home because they already had 2 layers on the house and wanted this to be the last time dealing with the roof. So they got the Owens Corning Duration shingle in Estate Gray with our Platinum 50-year warranty. 

This owner in Vernon heard about us from a neighbor and chose us to replace the roof on the house and attached garage. Here we installed Onyx Black Duration shingles by Owens Corning. The homeowners was very happy about the process and the finished product!

This single family home in Vernon, CT was built in 1959. After tearing off two layers of shingles, the damaged plywood decking was fully replaced. Three rows of Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Watershield was installed around the chimney, skylights, and roof/wall intersections. This can help block any moisture from entering the home. The chimney flashing was removed and replaced. Owens Corning TruDefinition Shingles, in the color Driftwood, were used, which can be protected from algae growth and winds up to 130 MPH. The roof of this home can now withstand what New England weather has to offer!

This ranch-style home located in Vernon, CT was in desperate need of a new roofing system. The old roof was outdated and needed to be torn off and replaced. We first stripped the old roof and brought the shingles to the Asphalt Roof Recycling Center in Stratford, CT to get the shingles turned into brand new roads. Then we replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down Ice & Water Shield to protect the home from the outside elements. Next, we installed brand new Owens Corning Duration Shingles in the color Estate Gray. To top it off we put in a new VentSure Ridge Vent to provide consistent attic ventilation as well as new lead chimney flashing.
