This lovely single-family home in Coventry, CT had a gable roof that had seen better days. To bring life back to the roof, we started by tearing off and disposing of one layer of asphalt roofing. We then inspected the roof decking and found 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking that were then replaced. With the decking repaired, we installed two rows of Ice & Water Barrier as well as a layer of Synthetic Underlayment to protect the house from rain and snow. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Weatherwood colorway. To finish the job we removed and replaced the home's chimney flashing and vent pipe boot. This colonial home was restored to its former glory thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
