The owner of this crawl space in Cedar Falls wanted to enhance the crawl space and decided to give MidAmerica basement systems a call. Mac Mcdaniel was the expert called to go to their home and was able to assess that the crawl space needed to be waterproofed and needed a drain system in case of a flood due to a pipe bursting or any other circumstance. Mac was able to provide a quote for the owner on the cost of the project the same day for free!

The owner understood what needed to be done and with the owner's approval, Mike Clementz and the MidAmerica Team was able to get to work installing a SmartDrain waterproofing system. SmartDrain allows water to go down but does not allow damp air to rise. The SmartDrain also comes equipped with a WaterWatch alarm system that alerts the owner of interior leaks. 

The team then lined the space with the CleanSpace liner, a waterproofing, mold/bacteria fighting, tear resisting material perfect for encapsulating damp, dark crawl spaces.
