Facing frequent water leaks through wall cracks, a homeowner in Waterloo, IA, turned to us for help. Martin W. of Hudson, IA was having issues with water still puddling in his basement even though he had a sump pump. Martin called in to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have an expert come and address his water issue. Upon inspection, Martin was told that he needed proper piping installed, so that water could be directed to the sump pump. MidAmerica Basement Systems simply proposed that they install WaterGuard, allowing for water to flow to the sump pump, leaving the basement dry.

Eric and Lori had a TripleSafe sump installed awhile back by MidAmerica Basement Systems, and during their annual service appointment, it was addressed that water was starting to seep in through the foundation walls. As a result, WaterGuard (drainage tile system) was installed around the perimeter of the basement. The WaterGuard has a small gap at the top of the product that allows water to run down the wall and into the drain tile. Water that enters the drainage system is than directed to the sump pump where it is properly discharged from the home.
