Debbie was looking to finish her basement floor but didn’t know where to begin. She recently had EverLast Wall Restoration panels installed by MidAmerica Basement Systems, and reached out to them again. Adao had suggested the installation of ThermalDry Flooring. ThermalDry Flooring offers a peg-raised system that allows for moisture and water to flow underneath, while giving a thermal break between the tiles and cold, damp concrete. The water-resistant tiles snap together, allowing for quick access to the concrete underneath, when necessary. The completely inorganic materials prevent mold and mildew growth, and will never chip, rot, or warp if they become wet.

ThermalDry Flooring is made for the basement atmosphere. It’s raised peg system provides the proper gap between the concrete floor and tile, allowing for moisture to pass under the tile without causing damage and provides a thermal break from the cold ground. ThermalDry Flooring is made up of completely inorganic materials so they will never become warped, rot, or grow mold. The simple snap-lock system allows for quick tile change, or if your basement floods, allows to easily be removed and dried out and put back together.

Homeowner Gordon and Judy recently had a RockWell Egress System installed in their home. The windows are specifically made for the use in a basement. First the old window is removed and the hole is fit to a new sized window. The new window is placed and rocks are added to the bottom of the window to give it’s a clean look.

Judy and Gordon have recent decided to have their egress window replaced as one was bringing to fail and looking les then impressive.
