This sidewalk was causing tripping concerns for this customer, as the concrete started to sink. Our crew used PolyLevel foam to spray underneath the concrete filling any voids and lifting the sidewalk back level. Looks brand new again!
Roy is a retired Law Enforcement Officer, who is looking at downsizing his home. Before making this decision, on whether to stay, or sell, he knew he needed to get his concrete issues addressed. There was cracking and settlement around his pool deck, driveway, and walkway to the front porch. Roy has used mudjacking in the past, which did not help with his existing problems. Having unsealed joints and cracks allow for moisture to get under the concrete, causing mudjacking to be ineffective, as it allows for soil settlement.
For this project, PolyLevel foam was used in areas under the concrete to fill voids, and lift the sunken areas. NexusPro was then used to seal the cracks and joints of the concrete. This will help prevent water from pooling under the concrete, causing soil settlement. Concrete leveling services are backed by a 5-year warranty that is transferable with the home.
Thrasher was exactly what Roy was looking for to fix his concrete. He let our Design Specialist, Bobby, know that he was straightforward and very professional, and he was impressed with the transferable warranty.
Uneven, cracked concrete can make a significant impact on your home's curb appeal and value. Sinking concrete can cause liability issues as a serious falling hazard. PolyLevel was the perfect solution for these sinking steps, giving the customer a new safe place to walk.
Homeowner Janet S. of Overland Park, KS was growing worried about the front porch. It was starting to settle and break away from the home. After doing research on Kansas City concrete repair options, she came across Thrasher. She read about our processes and the great customer interactions, so decided to give us a call.
System Design Specialist Bobby Bartow went out to Janet’s home and upon inspection recommended using PolyLevel. The crew was able to inject the PolyLevel foam into the concrete and raise it back up to the original height. Janet was extremely pleased with how this looked with her home.
These homeowners had a front step that they thought did not look as good as it could. They wanted it to be fixed, so they could stop worrying about it looking bad, and for the safety of their guests. They called Thrasher and System Design Specialist, Jimmy Hungerford, came out to meet with them. After the inspection, Jimmy proposed we use PolyLevel to lift and level the steps back into place, and NexusPro to fill in the cracks. The homeowners liked this idea and we sent out our installation team. They loved the work that was completed and were thrilled with how it looks! Check out the before and after on this one attached!
