To ensure lasting protection, we installed three layers of water-resistant barriers: Sealoron XT Deck Tape, Sealoron XT Ice & Water membrane, and Velora One Roof Underlayment. These layers work together to create a watertight seal over the new decking, effectively preventing the leaks and damage Peggy had previously experienced.

This ranch-style, single family home in Oakdale, CT was due for a full roof replacement. To start, we tore off one layer of existing roofing materials and disposed of them properly. We then located 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking, which we then removed and replaced. To weather proof their new roof, we installed two rows of Ice & Water Barrier as well as a layer of Synthetic Underlayment to help repel water. When it came to the shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Dual Grey colorway. The homeowners of this ranch style home in Storrs, CT reached out to Klaus Larsen because of leaking on the porch. The previous roof that was on the home was a rubber roof, which the homeowners installed in 2005. After tearing off one layer of exising material, the damaged plywood decking was installed. Three rows of Ice & Water was installed, along with a ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment, which is engineered to repel water. The old flashing was removed and replaced with lead flashing. A new exhaust vent hood with a built-in damper was installed, along with new Velux skylights. The shingle color is Quarry Gray.
