This 1996 Colonial-style home located in Glastonbury, CT had its original roof and was in desperate need of a new one. The backside had to be replaced a few years back due to ice dams but the rest of the house roof still needed to be replaced. To start, we first stripped off the old roofing material and replaced 4 sheets of damaged plywood decking. We then laid down three rows of Weatherlock G Ice & Water Shield to protect the home from any outside moisture. Because the backside of the garage was already replaced we had to carefully match the remainder of the shingles so that it would blend in. We used Owens Corning TruDefinition Oakridge Shingles in the color Estate Gray to match the shingles that were already on the garage. To top it off, we installed VentSure Ridge Vents to provide consistent attic ventilation to the home.
