This one-family home in East Hampton, CT was in need of a partial roof replacement. We started this project by tearing away and disposing of one layer of existing roof material. There were 20 damaged sheets of plywood roof decking that were replaced. We then installed two rows of Ice & Water Barrier to protect the home from the elements. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the Weatherwood colorway. Additionally, we installed Smart Vent eave vents along the eaves at the rear of the house. This home is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
This roof replacement in East Hampton involved a single-family home with two layers of deteriorating shingles on their roof. After tearing off the two layers of existing roofing material, we removed and replaced 5 sheets of damaged plywood decking. We then installed 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys, etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Charcoal Grey. We then cleaned up an existing gable vent, removed and replaced the existing chimney flashing with brand new lead flashing, and installed new hip and ridge shingles. We finished the job by installing a brand new exhaust vent hood with a built-in damper on the roof. This house is now complete, thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
This pleasant lake front home in East Hampton, CT was in need of a roof replacement and Klaus Larsen Roofing was able to help! To start this job, we began by tearing away one layer of existing roofing materials and disposing of them properly. We evaluated the condition of the roof deck, and we discovered that there were 5 damaged sheets of plywood decking and two damaged decking planks that were in need of replacement. We then installed Gold Shield Ice & Water Barrier on the entire roof deck in order to ensure protection from the elements. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using IKO Cambridge Archtitectural shingles in the Charcoal Grey colorway. To finish this job, we installed a ridge vent to ensure consistent attic ventilation. Also, we replaced the existing chimney flashing as well as extended the existing vent pipe from the attic, up through the roof deck.
At this beautiful natural cedar shake home in Deep River, CT we installed a brand new Owens Corning roof in Quarry Gray. We were able to update the home with new plywood decking and Duration shingles while preserving the natural look of the home. We also replaced the roof on the detached garage and installed a new cupola!
This cozy home, built in 1956 in Enfield, CT, received a full roof replacement from Klaus Larsen. The team replaced the damaged plywood and removed the layer of shingles. Three rows of Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water were installed, along with an Owens Corning ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment which is engineered to repel water and stick to the roof. Owens Corning Duration TruDefinition shingles were used around the house, in the color of Estate Grey. This ranch style home is ready for April showers!
