At this a 1999 colonial style home located in South Windsor, CT we completed a full roof replacement. We started by stripping the entire existing roof and replaced any damaged plywood decking with new plywood. Next, we laid down Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water to protect the home from any outside moisture. We also installed ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment which is a durable tear-resistant material engineered to repel water and to adhere to the roofing surface. For shingles, we used Owens Corning Duration TruDefinition Shingles in the color Slatestone Gray. To top it off we installed a new Velux Skylight with "Clean, Safe, Quiet" glass.

We then installed 2 rows of ice & water barrier near all roof eaves, valleys, chimneys etc. In terms of shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System with Cambridge Architectural Shingles in the color Dual Black. In terms of skylights, we installed 2 new Velux VS Skylights. We finished the job by removing and replacing the existing flashing with brand new lead flashing. This was a strip and re-shingle in Chester, CT for a recently purchased home. The original roof had sustained a great deal of damage from power washing. We do not recommend power washing as it can remove shingle granules and void preexisting insurance policies. Klaus Larsen recycled all of the old asphalt and installed a full Owens Corning Roofing System in Slatestone Gray TruDefinition Duration shingles. We also added an all new plywood deck over a dining room addition and rebuilt the skylight curb. The cupola recieved custom flashing, with SmartVent panels incorporated around its base, for ventilation. The homeowner was extremely satisfied with the work, and excited to make a home under their completely restored roof!
