This single family home located in East Hampton, CT was in desperate need of a full roof replacement. The roof was over 25 years old and was starting to show its age. To start the project, we completely stripped the existing roof and replaced 10 sheets of damaged plywood decking. Then, we laid down Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water to protect the home from the outside elements. For shingles, we installed Owens Corning Duration Shingles in the color Teak. We put in a new Fixed Deck Mounted Velux Skylight with Laminated, Low-E, Clean, Safe, quiet glass and Velux factory flashing kit. This 1999 Colonial style home was completely stripped of its existing roof and replaced with a brand new Klaus Larsen roofing system. We started the process by removing and replacing one layer of existing roofing materials and replaced five layers of damaged plywood decking.
