To begin this job we started by tearing away one layer of existing roofing material. Next, we evaluated the condition of the roof decking and determined that there were 3 sheets that were damaged and needed replacing. After the sheets of plywood decking were replaced, we then installed two rows of IKO Storm Shield Ice & Water Barrier as well as a synthetic underlayment to provide the home protection from the elements. For shingles, we installed a Klaus Larsen Roofing System using IKO Dynasty Architectural Shingles in the Atlantic Blue colorway. To finish the job we installed a ridge vent to maintain consistent attic ventilation and we also installed a brand new vent pipe boot.
At this ranch style home located in Broad Brook, CT, we stripped the old roof and replaced it with a complete Owens Corning Roofing System. We first tore off the layer of the existing shingles and recycled them at the Asphalt Recycling Center, which will turn the old asphalt shingles into roads! We then replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down Owens Corning Weatherlock G Ice & Water to protect the home from outside elements. We installed Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration Shingles in the color Estate Gray along with a VentSure Ridge Vent to ensure top-notch consistent attic ventilation. This homeowner will have peace of mind going into the stormy winter months.
Located in Broad Brook, CT, this home was in desperate need of a complete roof replacement. We first stripped the entire roof down to the plywood decking and hauled the debris to the Asphalt Roof Recycling Center in Stratford, CT to be recycled into paved roads.
We then replaced any damage plywood decking and laid down Owens Corning Ice & Water Shield to protect the home from any outside moisture. Next, we installed ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment-a durable tear-resistant material engineered to repel water and to adhere to the roofing surface. For shingles, we used Owens Corning Oakridge Shingles in the color Onyx Black. To top it off, we installed a VentSure Ridge Vent to provide consistent attic ventilation and replaced the chimney flashing with new lead flashing.
This single-family home in Broad Book, CT was in need of a new roof and gutters. In terms of gutters, we installed brand new 6-inch Seamless Gutters by Englert. We finished the job by installing a brand new Lomanco 750 slanted style attic vent in the color Black. This house is now complete thanks to Klaus Larsen Roofing!
This raised ranch home located in Moodus, CT had a roof well over 20 years old. This roof was in need of a full roof replacement and installation of a new roofing system. We stripped the existing roof and replaced any damaged plywood decking. Then, we laid down Ice & Water Shield to protect the interior of the home from any moisture. To follow the Ice & Water Shield we laid down ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment to add a second layer of moisture and water repellant. For shingles, we installed Owens Corning Duration TruDefinition Duration Shingles in the color Desert Tan. To finish this roofing system off, we put in ProEdge Hip & Ridge Shingles on all ridges and hips and replaced the existing vent pipe boot.
