Carol H. in Spirit Lake, IA, was looking to downsize into a smaller home but noticed cracks on the outside of her current house that she has had patched up before. Uncomfortable selling the house with foundation cracks, she gave us a call because of our reputation and transferrable warranty to the next homeowner when she does choose to sell.
Our System Design Specialist Corey Little arrived at the home in Spirit Lake and performed a thorough inspection of the home's foundation. This problem continued to occur because the home was continuously settling over time. Carol opted to have our crews install 12 push piers to permanently lift and stabilize the foundation.
Carol was impressed with her Thrasher experience and the effort we put forth into our customer service. It was rewarding to restore her peace of mind and give her the confidence she needed to move forward in the selling process.
Jeff W. is a homeowner in Baxter Springs, KS but had recently purchased a new home making him want to sell his current one. However, before selling Jeff knew the foundation problems were going to have be taken care of. To find the best permanent solution, Jeff gave Thrasher a call to come inspect the failing foundation.
System Design Specialist Robert Griffin arrived in Baxter Springs to perform a thorough inspection in order to find the best solution. The interior wall that separated the crawl space from the cellar area had a two-inch sheer at the bottom and deflected enough the floor above it had dropped. To fix this, the team installed our PowerBrace support system and ShotLock wall restoration. The PowerBrace permanently stabilizes the foundation and can be tightened over time to return it to its vertical position. ShotLock is then used to seal all cracks to prevent water from seeping in.
Jeff was thrilled with the results of the solutions our team installed. He was impressed with the quality and display of professionalism from the crew. He now has the confidence he needs to sell his home for maximum value.
Leslie W. has only lived in her home a few years. Last year there was a water break causing her driveway to sink. After falling on the driveway, she was worried that it would become a trip hazard for others, she decided to give us a call.
System Design Specialist Ryan Van Cleave went out to the home and was able to identify that one third of the driveway had settled. We were able to use PolyLevel to lift and level the sunken concrete effectively eliminating the trip hazard. To keep water from entering the rest of the control joints in the driveway and sidewalk leading up to the house we used NexusPro to seal up all the control joints giving Leslie the peace of mind that the rest of the concrete will not settle.
Greg in Morrill, KS was getting worried about the foundation walls. For years he had noticed some cracking appear but noticed the cracks started to get worse and appear for frequently. After getting a recommendation to call Thrasher, he gave us a call.

The crew installed the EverBrace Wall System to permanently stabilize two of the foundation walls. Greg was thrilled with how hard the crew worked and how everything turned out.
This homeowner uses his basement as an office and has become worried that the walls are coming in. Our team discovered that the walls were deflecting due to pressure. To repair the wall, we installed our PowerBrace foundation support system.
